Our Glacier Walk Journey begins inside the modified Land Rover Defender 4x4 vehicle heading towards of of the Vatnajökull glacial outlet. Once we get close, we will walk through recently shaped landscapes and over moraines to reach the edge of the glacier. Before we embark and take our first steps on the glacier, our glacier guides will conduct a safety brief as well as equipping everyone with Crampons, Harness, Helmets and a Mountaineering Ice Axe, from here we take our first steps on the glacier. During the journey our guide will share local knowledge of the area, the glacier and surrounding landscapes as well as guiding us through beautiful glacial terrain, perhaps even stopping to drink the purest water which can be found in Iceland.

The Glacier Adventure tour is perfect for those who wish to get close and personal to these mystical formations, and since our tours are private they suit all experience levels. The guide assesses your personal ability, so it is great for beginners and for those who have journey on glaciers before, meaning no tour is the same and you should should expect to see something unique. During the different times of the year, the glacier looks and behaves in different ways, colors, streams, creases, and moulins change and we witness this change first hand. The ever changing terrain allow us to take you to a unique place to create a unique experience.
